Turkey Vultures

Hubby came home with dinner tonight and told me "Hurry up, grab your camera, let's go!" So I did, not having ANY idea what he was talking about and where we were going. On his way home, he had seen 3 huge birds on the hydro poles and thought they were possibly hawks and he said one was bigger than the others. Once we went back they had flown into the trees and we could only find 2 and they turned out to be turkey vultures. Unfortunately, I was cold and a little shaky, so the pics are a little blurry, but I think they turned out ok!

Flower Arrangement

This past wknd we attended my Papa's memorial service and my sister and I were given an arrangement to bring home for all the help we did. As I went to separate it, I realized the white carnations had very short stems, so this is what I came up with and I think it really turned out nice! Spring from A Child's Eyes

I took one of my little daycare kiddie's out for a walk. He's a yr old and was really getting a kick out of the whole snow/grass idea. Best of both worlds!! We went puddle jumping AND played in the snow!!

Spring Time Shrubs

I was trying to capture the suns rays on our shrubs. I don't think I captured it exactly as it was, but the pics turned out nice. The sun was just making it glisten..was so nice to see. It's been a long, cold winter!

Spring Melt Down

These are just some fun photo's I took while out and about a couple days ago. Everything is starting to melt and I thought this could be a fun photo opp! It's at our neighbors and it's running off the roof in a steady stream of water. Let me know what you think!

White Tailed Deer

While out about about yesterday, I noticed these deer in the field down from my place, so I raced home and grabbed my camera and headed back out. This is a first for me with my nikon camera...not to mention the yucky weather. I was trying to get off the road for an oncoming car and slipped in the ditch...what to do but laugh, right?? Anyway, I think they turned out ok!

Toby and His Shower

I was at my Aunt's over the wknd and their cat, Toby, loves to shower!! Yes, you heard me right! I couldn't resist this photo opp. He doesn't like the rain, but he will sit and wash himself in the shower for hours. You just let the water trickle out and away he goes!!
