Puppy Love - Our Boys, Buddy and Riley

Meet our boys! Believe it or not, they are NOT siblings! I have to be honest, WE weren't looking for a puppy, but HUBBY was (hahaha) and he found Riley on kijiji. He thought we needed a friend for our Rottie, Roxie, as she was getting older and he thought it would be nice for her to have a playmate. He brought Riley home in January 2009 and we lost Roxie in April. Riley really helped our family through her VERY sudden loss. So, we were down to Riley and our dachshund, Angel. I was happy with that! Then January of last yr, they decided RILEY needed a playmate! I fought it as long as I could till I realized I was fighting a losing battle. So, Ashleigh found Buddy on kijiji and away they went to get him. So, they are a yr apart - Riley's mom is a Rottie, dad's an American Bulldog. Buddy's parents are opposite. We think Riley has mastiff in him to. He is HUGE! 135lbs. But I have to admit, as much as I fought the idea, I couldn't imagine being without them now and they're just a (very big..lol) part of our family and they were inseparable from the time Bud came through our front door. Now that's puppy love!
