Hard At Work

Good morning!! Out and about in my front yard in Sunday and caught this little guy busy doing what bee's do! I had fun following him around as he did his business .. it really is cool what they do and how they do it. In some of the photo's you can see the pollen.

A Bee In Flight

Good morning!! I had a wonderful wknd and a nice, relaxing Mother's Day. I was even able to get out and play with my camera in our yard and I followed a bee as he was pollinating our tree's and flowers. I have more to post once I edit them, but for today - I love how I was able to catch this little guy in action and you can even see his wings! Sometimes I even amaze myself. Have a wonderful day!

Bloomin' Crab Apple

You know those times that you take a photo and you don't even realize that you've caught something in that moment? Check out the first photo and look closely - see him? I thought it was something on my screen while I was playing with the photo on PSE9 and then when I enlarged it, it's a gnat!! How neat is that, that I caught a tiny little bug on a bloom. I had some fun with these in PSE9 - playing with exposures etc and love the way they turned out. Thanks for stopping by today!

Tip Toe Through The Tulips ...

This is one of the tulips in my front garden. For some reason this yr, we don't seem to have as many as normal? Anyone else dealing with this? Anyway, I took this from the ground and then played with it in PSE9. I think it looks pretty cool!! Thanks for stopping by!

Our Sand Cherry Tree

Out and about in my front yard yesterday afternoon and starting snapping some pics of our sand cherry tree. I love this tree, so much so that we now have 4 in our front yard and 2 in the back. I just wish they shared these gorgeous smelling blooms all season!

Ducks In A TREE???

Yes, this is my front yard. The other day I was playing toys with the daycare kid's and I noticed something that didn't quite look right in the front tree. Imagine my surprise when I saw these 2!!! Can't say I have ever seen ducks in a tree!!!
