Puppy Kisses

Last spring, our neighbors cottage had a water pipe burst and since we are lower than they are, our backyard flooded out. Well, Ashleigh and our dogs certainly didn't mind one bit! While we were more concerned about getting the water out, Ashleigh, Buddy and Riley were having a blast. Ohhh, to be a child again!

Ride For Literacy - July, 2010

Last July, my husband, brother and I went in the "Ride For Literacy" for the first time. Was a great (LONG!) ride and alot of great people. I was on the back of our bike, so some of these pics I took over my hubby's shoulder just using my little Kodak camera. There were stops along the way where you had to find letters, they had games at the end with a nice luncheon. Was a good time! We're looking forward to doing it again this year!

Spring Retreat

My friend Kelli and I have been running wknd scrapbooking retreats for a couple years now. We have one coming up again in June and really looking forward to it. We've got an amazing group of women that join us for a great wknd of scrapbooking, card making, great food, friends and A LOT of laughs! Here's some photo's from our Spring Retreat last June.

(I've noticed a couple times, when I post photo's, they post sideways instead of right side up...does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance for your help!)

Christmas 2009 - This was taken with my old camera, an Olympus E300. I just love how I captured the moment in this one of my daughter.

It Starts With A Plant....

It starts with one plant and ends with alot of fun editing ideas! I noticed the sun was hitting my bamboo plant just the right way yesterday and of course, had to grab my camera! I just thought it was so pretty. I uploaded and edited it in 3 different ways. I love them all! The first shot is the original and the next 3 are edited.

A Daddy's Love For His Daughter...

This is a photo I took of my brother and his daughter, Jayla, on Thanksgiving wknd. Such a sweet and tender moment between and father and daughter. Again, I took one photo and edited it in a few different ways. I feel that this way, you can pick and choose to your decor or take them all!! One photo looks so different when done in a different format.

Baby Photo Shoot #3

Here are the last pics I took of Ryder. I LOVE this first one. I played with some editing techniques and absolutely love this look. I think I did pretty good!! Again, taken with Nikon D90 camera using a Sigma 70-300mm lens.
