Our Backyard Fountain

Keith bought this last yr and it suits our home perfectly. It's rustic looking and just such a neat piece. I thought it would be fun to see what I could do with it as far as what kind of shots I could get in. I did some fun editing in PSE9 and this is what I came up with! Kinda neat!

Spring Babies!

Yesterday, late afternoon, we were heading out and I saw some commotion in our front tree and had to have a peek!! Look what was peeking back at me!! How cute are these spring babes??? Now lets just hope they remain good little squirrels and not get destructive! She had a litter (I think it's a litter?) last year as well and was so fun to watch mommy teaching her babes how to do everything. Now we get to observe her again!

Signs Of Spring

Here are some signs of spring I've seen around our house. They're signs of warm weather to come!! Thank goodness, I am SO ready for warm weather that's here to stay for awhile!!

Spring from A Child's Eyes

I took one of my little daycare kiddie's out for a walk. He's a yr old and was really getting a kick out of the whole snow/grass idea. Best of both worlds!! We went puddle jumping AND played in the snow!!

Spring Time Shrubs

I was trying to capture the suns rays on our shrubs. I don't think I captured it exactly as it was, but the pics turned out nice. The sun was just making it glisten..was so nice to see. It's been a long, cold winter!

Spring Melt Down

These are just some fun photo's I took while out and about a couple days ago. Everything is starting to melt and I thought this could be a fun photo opp! It's at our neighbors and it's running off the roof in a steady stream of water. Let me know what you think!

Puppy Kisses

Last spring, our neighbors cottage had a water pipe burst and since we are lower than they are, our backyard flooded out. Well, Ashleigh and our dogs certainly didn't mind one bit! While we were more concerned about getting the water out, Ashleigh, Buddy and Riley were having a blast. Ohhh, to be a child again!

Spring Retreat

My friend Kelli and I have been running wknd scrapbooking retreats for a couple years now. We have one coming up again in June and really looking forward to it. We've got an amazing group of women that join us for a great wknd of scrapbooking, card making, great food, friends and A LOT of laughs! Here's some photo's from our Spring Retreat last June.
